Furry Art 101 - How to draw the anthro head (Redone)
Просмотров 97 тыс.5 лет назад
So! I decided to pick up this series again, and since this is my most popular video, I didnt want to have people watching two years old content. So, Here's an up to date video on how I approach drawing heads. Hopefully it's useful! I stream every weekday on twitch my commission work, starting around 1pm BRT at twitch.tv/Cacuudraws My gallery as well as commission info can be found at Furaffinit...
Speedpaint - Red panda

This is my first attempt at a timelapse video. I tried to keep it quick enough for you to not get bored of it, but slow enough so you can see what's going on. The video starts around 4x speed and ramps up to 8x by half of it. The entire painting took me about 2 hours. So where time is concerned, it was fairly quick. If you enjoy it, I'll make sure to do some more of it! Here's a link to my Tool...

Furry art 101 - Digitigrade legs
Просмотров 15 тыс.7 лет назад
Here I'm breaking down what it is that composes an anthropomorphic character to help you understand what you're drawing and how to get a better understanding of it. This first video is about the legs; It's probably the simplest part to put together the traits you want, and so I decided to start from it. This video is not aimed at absolute beginners, but rather at people who are trying to figure...
idk how to replicate that brush in procreate
ty :)
This is how I found Cacuu, through this video! Thanks so much for what you do Cacuu, you are an inspiration to us all!
Hey I know this video has been uploaded a while ago, but I watched your videos yeaaars ago and they have been a huge help on my self taught artistic training, thank you so much for making these! <3 I dont think I would be where I am without your videos.
Hey, I liked the video, but there is one thing I don't quiet understand. The sketch showed at 27:18 for example, you kept saying it's not good, not right etc... But I don't quiet understand what's bad about it ? The back and hips aren't aligned but to me it just looked like she was turning her upper body outward to face the fish, with her tail the other way, but it doesn't necessarily look wrong ? I tried redoing that position IRL and it wasn't necessarily the most comfortable but it was entirely doable, especially underwater. Am I missing or misunderstanding something ?
The length of the nose or where to place the nose in 3d mode helps alot, thank you so much, I've been confused about it lately and now I really understood it
Incredible tutorial. I pulled this up and used split screen on my phone as I followed along with my own different drawing. I was able to take a 3/4 angle ref of my character and accurately copy him into a front facing view after struggling to do it all week. Just watching you slowly do it helped so much because other artists do it so fast without explaining anything.
The character u used as a example looks rlly cute I love ur style Btw do these tips apply to rabbit furries too
Dude you have no idea how much this video helped me, I had already completed all my task for the day at my job and then just opened youtube and search for this, and your video popped up, It was so calming but also informative the way you explained everything, i literally couldnt stop smiling after being able to draw a head that made sense for the first time, the eye socket part was just the last piece of the puzzle, I though the eyes just went there and I had to simply guess where the nose and eyebrows would go but literally having the eye socked makes EVERYTHING come together. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS, I feel inspired to continue with my journey and continue doing what I love cause even tho i dont know everything, having this explanation and beeing able to complete a head was the first step I feel I needed to move on and continue trying, THANK YOU ❤
sigh.....
Nicely done!
In the software, what pen do you use? (Not the pen you draw with, but the pen tool from the hot bar)
Very informative 👌

It's really fucking weird that a video so helpful didn't get over 1000 views
It needs chapters!
its got 3k now :)
Cool. Very inspiring. Thanks.
Hi, how do you flip it so easy? at 15:57 Did you edit your video? I'm asking because I use PH too, but for horizontal flip I have to select area, than transform it and only after that I can flip it (plus deselect an area in the end).
Ok, I found it Select Image -> Image Rotation and select the flip canvas horizontal.
On newer photoshop versions, you can bind a viewport flip to a keybind. It's under View > Flip canvas horizontally. If you're using older versions, you can do a normal flip, where you will have to process flipping everything (and will be a lot more resource intensive) by going to image > image rotation > flip canvas horizontally. Outside of photoshop, you can probably find such functions as mirror (clip studio paint has it).
Very good art advice. Broke it down into analytical steps. The noise in the background is very calming.
what if we wanna have big expressive eyes?, that and have exaggerated proportions
Just uhhh...exaggerate the features? 😆 It's still a similar base just more extreme.
You draw too fast I cant keep up :(
Slow down the speed of the video
The link to the discord is broken. Is it closed?
Okay, so I rarely comment, but I just gotta say this is REALLY REALLY helpful. It's basically all you need to start out and it's very comprehensive! Usually most tutorials are missing something and I'd have to look up said missing part, but not with this one, I could start sketching right away and it turned out pretty decent, considering my current skill level. Good job!
